Pre-race
Just before the finish line! They faked it to look like they were running. 
Post-race in front of Boutwell AuditoriumMom and Dad successfully completed the BE&K 5K which is a part of the Mercedes Marathon Weekend. They did a great job, especially for Dad. It's his first race ever! Let's all put on our Christmas list to buy him some running/walking pants. The hunters orange hat made it easy to spot him though. Way to go Mom and Dad!
Congratulation to you both. Yeah, Dad, we're going to have to get you some wind pants or something. Maybe an iPod with an arm-strap to make the uniform complete.

ReplyDeleteThe hat was to prevent shootings by the runners. They knew immediately that I did not belong out there!!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what tipped them off. Perhaps being lapped by the wheel chair or the heart patient with the iv drip still in his arm.
I am going to smoke them both next year!!
