Wild Sweet Orange
The band Wild Sweet Orange was on David Letterman a few weeks back. Obviously I didn't watch it...I don't have a television set. But I thought you might be interested. If you've never heard of the band let me hit you up with their roll-call: Preston Lovinggood, Garett Kelly, Taylor Shaw, and Chip Kilpatrick. That's right. We know these people.

This band is like the great new thing...there are some younger teachers at my school that love them! It's kind of weird to know all of those guys are semi-famous now. I might even have Taylor's autograph in one of my yearbooks!
ReplyDeleteI knew they were a band, but didn't know they were as "up and comming" as they are. I ran across Preston about 1-1/2 to 2 years ago at Red Mountain Church and he was like "hey man, we gotta a band together. You need to check us out." I checked then, but I apparently haven't been checking enough.
ReplyDeleteThis is the band I had offered to get tickets for all of you over Christmas at Workplay and no one seemed interested at the time (and the Zoo trip we opted for was loads of fun) but you may have missed your chance to see these guys before they hit the big time! MOM
